May 6, 2018 · I have problem with Wifi. I can't enable wifi in my laptop. I have lenovo G50-70. iwconfig enp1s0 no wireless extensions. lo no wireless extensions. The output for sudo lshw -C network is: *-network UNCLAIMED network-manager is already the newest version (1.2.6-0ubuntu0.16.04.2). It's showing me only bluetooth and nothing about wireless.
Make sure that Wi-Fi is not disabled through a hardware toggle on your computer. Some laptops have a hardware Wi-Fi switch or the keyboard combination to turn the Wi-Fi on and off. Plug in Ethernet, or your phone and share internet through USB. For me few minutes after doing this, wifi would magically show up. I think it download some neccessary updates for the wifi component or I dont know. Anyway I installed windows two times and everytime had this problem. 2.May 23, 2019 · 2.
